Army Environmental Park Nasirabad Golf Course

A 9-hole, par-36 desert course (3,326 yards, with a course rating of 35.5 and slope of 113) inside the Army's environmental park at Nasirabad cantonment, south of Ajmer — one of India's oldest cantonments, established in 1818. Every measurement above comes from a single undated golfpass directory listing, unchanged as of August 2026. The existence of the course, however, does not rest on that listing alone: the Comptroller and Auditor General's performance audit of Defence Estates Management (Report No. 35 of 2010) lists Nasirabad among the 97 golf courses the Army held as of August 2009. The same audit also explains the course's odd name — in 2004 the Chief of Army Staff reclassified golf as a sports activity and renamed Army golf courses "Army Environmental Park and Training Area", which is exactly the formula in this course's title. That official evidence, though, is dated 2009 and says nothing about today; no later signal was found, so nothing confirms the course is currently operating. No phone, email, website, social media, prices or hours exist anywhere reachable. This is a military facility and access terms are not published; golfpass's rental-equipment claim is unattributed and should not be taken as fact.
