Mayo College Golf Course

Mayo College Golf Course is a 9-hole course on the campus of Mayo College, the boarding school in Ajmer. That a 9-hole course exists is well corroborated: the school's own site lists "A 9-hole Golf Course" under its sports infrastructure, and Wikipedia and a golf listicle both describe a nine-hole course. Everything more specific comes from a single directory listing (golfpass), which gives par 34, 2,477 yards from the championship tees, a 2010 build by architect Ranjit Nanda, and a driving range with pitching and putting areas — none of which the school itself publishes, and neither Wikipedia nor the listicle mentions any practice facility, so the driving range in particular should be treated with caution. Access terms are not published anywhere. The school's site gives no fees, no guest policy and no visitor route for the course; the listicle offers only the hedge that guest and green-fee play "may be permitted, subject to prior enquiry and availability", and golfpass simply labels the type "Private". Nothing dated shows the course in play: the school site's "Last Updated on 16 August 2026" is a site-wide footer stamp — the homepage carries the same date — so it dates the website, not the golf listing. Sources give conflicting PIN codes (305001 on the school's own site, 305008 on golfpass; a third value from a map listing could not be checked, as it sits behind a sign-in wall). All contact routes are school-level — the phone number is the college switchboard and the email is the Principal's secretariat; there is no golf-specific contact in any source.
