Sapta Shakti Golf Course
The Indian Army's 18-hole golf course at Jaipur Military Station (Khatipura), today listed as Sapta Shakti Golf Course after the South Western "Sapta Shakti" Command headquartered in Jaipur. GolfPass carries what appears to be the same course under an older name, "Chinkara Army Officers Golf Course", giving par 72, 6,515 yards, built 1978, at "HQ 45 Infantry Division, Jaipur" — Chinkara Colony sits in the same cantonment area, and no source lists two separate 18-hole army courses in Jaipur, so the two names are treated here as one course, though the possibility that they are distinct has not been fully excluded. Hole19 gives par 72 at 6,253 yards with a 36/36 split, so the listings disagree on yardage. A Justdial listing and a community scorecard entry ("Sapta Shakti Greens - SSGC") corroborate the current name. Access terms are not published; GolfPass states access is "Private/Military". None of the listings carry a date, and a deliberate search of official military and government sources — indianarmy.nic.in, PIB and other gov.in/nic.in pages — found abundant dated 2025-26 material on Sapta Shakti Command at Jaipur but nothing at all about a golf course, so nothing dated shows the course operating today. The Chinkara identification also remains open: GolfPass places Chinkara at "HQ 45 Infantry Division, Jaipur", and no source confirms that 45 Infantry Division is in fact headquartered at Jaipur, so treating the two as one course is a working assumption rather than an established fact.
