Clover Greens Golf Course & Resort
Clover Greens is an 18-hole golf resort (Phil Ryan / Pacific Coast Design, Australia; opened 2008–09) with a driving range, academy, restaurant, spa and service-apartment accommodation. Sources disagree on the card: GolfPass prints par 71 / 6,703 yd off the black tees, while 18birdies prints a hole-by-hole black card summing to par 72 / 6,950 yd with a 70.6 / 122 rating, and PGTI — reporting from the course in August 2025 — described a layout of "nearly 6,900 yards" playing "close to 7,000 yards". The likeliest explanation is that the course was lengthened, not that either source is simply wrong. The place is demonstrably active: the PGTI held its Players Championship here on 19–22 August 2025, the tour's first visit. The operator's own website, by contrast, is live but stale — everything on it is copyright 2023 and it never mentions the tournament — so the best proof the course is open comes from PGTI's dated reporting, not the website.

The operator markets this place as a Bangalore club: the homepage's own HTML title is "Luxury Golf Resorts in India | Bangalore Golf Club – Clover Greens", its Instagram handle is @clovergreensbangalore, and it runs a page headed "The Ultimate Golfing Experience in Bangalore". Physically the course is at Sevaganapalli village, Hosur Taluk, Krishnagiri district, Tamil Nadu — "southeast of Bengaluru" in the operator's own words, roughly an hour from the city, whose golfers are its real customer base. Despite the marketing name, this is emphatically not the Bangalore Golf Club: that is a separate, unrelated 1876 members' club inside Bengaluru city. The two share no owner, no website, no phone number and no state — and the confusion is real: the golf-concierge site thegolfasia.com lists Clover Greens' location simply as "Bengaluru (Bangalore), South India", erasing Tamil Nadu altogether. None of the Bengaluru clubs' — Bangalore Golf Club's or KGA's — rate cards, phone numbers or scorecards applies to this course.
Access is resort-style rather than members-only: non-members can book play and stay, and the place is sold as a hotel on the usual travel sites. No green fee is published anywhere. The operator's only statement about cost is that "green fees are competitively priced", which is marketing copy and not a rate — so anyone planning a round should phone the golf desk first.
