Golden Swan Country Club
Golden Swan Country Club sits in the Yeoor Hills above Thane, about ten minutes from Thane city centre, and is the only golf facility of any kind between Mumbai's suburbs and Navi Mumbai's Kharghar: a short 9-hole par-3 course (par 27, roughly 834 yards, the academy dates itself to February 2014, though third parties give the club's build year variously as 1944 and 1994), a canopied all-weather driving range, putting and chipping areas, and a golf cafe. It is a membership country club — godigit cites undated membership figures of ₹1.42–4 lakh — but golf is more open than at the city clubs: the academy (which Golfnext also teaches out of) is listed as bookable through Playo, and the club's own academy page invites outside coaching and practice bookings by phone. A public "Big Golf Festival" page with taster lessons and a putting contest exists on the parent domain, but it is copyrighted 2017 and carries no dates, so it should not be read as a current event. Bay counts, range length, and per-session prices are not published anywhere found. The club's website is live but not demonstrably maintained — its events page has not moved since 2024 — so what actually shows this club is still trading is its own iOS app, last released 21 August 2025 (and again in June, year not shown by Apple).
