That listing mentions club rentals, caddies, a putting green and a restaurant, and rates the nine at 30.5/113 — but it is the only source found, so every specification above rests on it alone and nothing here is corroborated. Nothing published by Indian Railways, by Northern Railway or by the unit itself has been found that so much as mentions a golf course, and the unit's own website could not be reached to check (the railway hosts refuse the connection, which is not the same as being gone). The unit was renamed Patiala Locomotive Works in February 2022, so anyone searching should use both names.

The CAG's 2010 audit of golf courses on defence land does list a 150.00-acre course at Patiala station, but that document covers Army courses only and cannot speak for a railway club — its Patiala entry belongs to the Army's Black Elephant course, a different 18-hole facility with a different owner, address and phone number. Its absence from that audit says nothing about this club. As with other railway institutional clubs, access terms for non-railway players are not published, and nothing dated 2025 or later was found. The sister railway club at Kapurthala does have current evidence of activity; none of it applies here, and DMW/PLW was not among the units named in those reports.
