Jammu Tawi Golf Course

18 HOLES

Jammu Tawi Golf Course at Sidhra is the Jammu region's flagship course, a government-developed (Jammu Development Authority-era) project on the banks of the Tawi river spread over 1,385 kanals, with views of the Trikuta hills, Amar Mahal and Bahu Fort and a 2 km riverside promenade. The official Jammu Tourism page (undated) describes an 18-hole design with nine holes open and the back nine under construction; how far construction has progressed is unresolved, though the course was good enough to host the PGTI's J&K Open in 2023. It has an active tournament calendar — a "Golfers Day Out" New Year tournament in January 2025 and a Diwali Cup whose closing ceremony a J&K minister attended, reported on 20 October 2025 — so it is clearly operating. The tourism page itself says the nine holes were "thrown open for public", and a golf directory also classes the course public, though no published green fee confirms what playing it costs. The course's own website domain no longer resolves at all, so the pages search engines still index for it are stale. A Facebook page (JTGCSidhra) exists, and a second page also surfaces under a different handle; which is official is unresolved. No green fees, phone, par or yardage are published anywhere citable. A similarly-named 6.25-acre "Jammu" entry in the Army's defence-land golf audit is a separate army facility and is not this course.
