Kharghar Valley Golf Course is the only genuinely public, pay-and-play course in the Mumbai region. Built and run by CIDCO (the Navi Mumbai development authority), it reopened in 2025 after expanding from a modest 9/11-hole layout into an 18-hole, par-72 course of roughly 7,140 yards (CIDCO's figure; a local portal says 7,180) designed by Vijit Nandrajog, set against the Pandavkada hills. A 29-bay driving range with coaching opened in May 2025, and the course hosted the inaugural ₹1-crore CIDCO Open professional event in December 2025. Green fees here come from a September 2025 CIDCO rate resolution reported by a local city portal — walk-in ₹2,500 weekday / ₹3,500 weekend for 18 holes, cheaper pre-booked — and formal public membership had reportedly not yet started as of February 2026. Phone numbers are from the same portal, not CIDCO directly, so confirm before relying on them. CIDCO has stated operations will eventually be handed to a private operator, so terms may change. The upgraded course opened in October 2024 (a dated Lokmat Times report), and a golf press item claims it holds the country's longest fairway at 756 yards — the operator's own promotional framing, repeated rather than verified here. Searches in August 2026 found no readable, dated statement of the green fees anywhere beyond the portal's report of the September 2025 resolution: CIDCO itself still publishes no green-fee notice, and its only golf tariff page is a scanned image. On TripAdvisor the course rates 3.8 from 40 reviews (August 2026).
