The Poona Club Golf Course
The Poona Club Golf Course is the golf arm of The Poona Club Ltd, one of India's oldest member clubs, laid out on roughly 96 acres at 6 Airport Road, Yerawada — the only full 18-hole course inside Pune city proper. Golfshake lists it at par 71 and about 6,600 yards; godigit says 6,830, a disagreement that stands unresolved — and since godigit's Pune data contains at least one implausible designer credit elsewhere, treat it with caution. It is fundamentally a members' club: the official site publishes membership forms but no green fees. A TripAdvisor review from October 2017 does not describe general visitors paying to play — it describes a Rs 2,600 green fee charged to reciprocal members, i.e. members of affiliated clubs, which is a members-only arrangement rather than public access. An outside operator, GolfTripz, once advertised lessons at the course, but every GolfTripz page for this club now returns an error, so that route appears dead. No published non-member route to play this course was found.
