CGA Golf Range

The CGA Golf Range is run by the Chandigarh Golf Association on a six-acre plot beside Sukhna Lake in Sector 6, next door to the Chandigarh Golf Club. The association's own page describes an all-weather floodlit driving range, a 9-hole pitch-and-putt course (par 27 per a golf directory) and an 18-hole miniature golf course, plus dining and fitness facilities. The CGA's own club app listing on Google Play repeats the six acres, the all-weather floodlit range, the 9-hole pitch and putt, the academy, the bar and restaurant and a Range House with gym — though notably it does not mention the miniature golf course. Coaching is offered; a directory lists professional coaches and 7am–7pm hours seven days a week, and shows a training-fees section with no amounts, so no price for balls, coaching or entry is published anywhere reachable. The association's own website could not be opened at all when checked — the whole host returns a 403 error — which says nothing about whether the pages still exist. The range is nonetheless operating: a dated Tribune India report of 28 March 2025 describes the Chandigarh Golf Range as sitting under the CGA and reports around 1,200 range members voting in the association's elections, and the CGA club app was updated in March 2026. The open question is access: nothing reachable states whether a member of the public can simply walk in, and the existence of 1,200 "range members" suggests there may be a membership tier — so treat walk-in access as provisional and check first.
