Panchkula Golf Club
Panchkula is a government-run 18-hole, par-72 course on roughly 135 acres pinched between the Ghaggar river and the Shivalik hills — windy, long in the par-3s, and lively enough to host its own Panchkula Golf League in February 2026, with 16 teams and a ₹21 lakh purse. It went pay-and-play with real-time online tee booking back in 2019; the published weekday rate is ₹800 + GST, and the club's own site takes the booking.

What we knowEverything on file, and what the sources disagreed about
Panchkula Golf Club is a government-run 18-hole, par-72 course in Sector 3, Panchkula, opened around 2003 on roughly 135 acres between the Ghaggar river and the Shivalik hills — its online payments run through the HSVP (Haryana urban development authority) club portal. Haryana Tourism lists it as IGU-affiliated and highlights its long par-3s and windy riverside conditions. It moved to pay-and-play with real-time online tee booking in 2019, and the official website is clearly maintained (a Panchkula Golf League 2026 auction notice, a scanned PDF dated 08 October 2025, is linked from the front page). The club's own site does publish a green-fee rate card, but its categories are written around member types, so the published route for a walk-in non-member is not spelled out in the owner's own words — the "pay and play" description comes from a 2019 golf-news piece and from Haryana Tourism calling the course "a public sports facility run by the Haryana Government". Practice-facility details (range, academy) are not documented online.
The club's own rate card lists green fees of ₹800 + 18% GST on weekdays and ₹1,200 + GST on weekends/holidays under an unlabelled general category (no line says "non-member", so treat it as the default rate until confirmed on the ground), with cheaper member tiers (student ₹150/₹300 + GST; midweek ₹100; green card ₹200), and caddies run ₹150–₹350 by category and holes played. The club's own contact page adds Sector-3 PIN 134113, phone 0172-2921877 and panchkulagolfclub@yahoo.com — note this club-published number differs from Haryana Tourism's 0172-2587594. No opening hours are published anywhere official. The club hosted the second edition of its own Panchkula Golf League from 4 to 22 February 2026 — 16 teams and over 250 golfers competing for a ₹21 lakh purse, per The Tribune (4 Feb 2026). TripAdvisor shows a 5.0 rating but from just two reviews (latest October 2024).
