The Chikmagalur Golf Club sits in coffee-estate country outside Chikkamagaluru town — an 18-hole, par-68 course of about 5,550 yards established in 2002 and redesigned by Phil Ryan in 2015, per GolfPass, which classifies it as a resort-type course open to the public with a range, practice areas, rentals, caddies and a teaching pro. The club's own website is live, but only over plain http — the https version fails because its certificate is not valid for the domain — and it independently confirms the 18 holes, the Phil Ryan design and the club's two published phone numbers, which are therefore genuinely the club's. It is, however, a brochure site frozen at a 2019 copyright, and it publishes no green fee, no membership terms and no hole-by-hole card, so par, yardage and the practice facilities still rest on GolfPass alone; the PIN GolfPass lists is plainly wrong (a Meghalaya-range number), while the club's own footer gives 577101. The most current evidence of life is its place on the Karnataka Golf Association's affiliated-club green-fee sheet, last modified June 2026, where Chikmagalur members pay half-rate reciprocal fees in Bengaluru. The visitor process, though, remains unpublished everywhere: no green fee, no booking page, no hours.
