Tata Coffee Golf Club, Pollibetta

The Tata Coffee Golf Club at Pollibetta, deep in south Kodagu's coffee country, is a 9-hole, par-35 course of about 2,840 yards laid out in 1980 for Tata Coffee's planters and guests and later opened to visiting golfers. The course is named as currently existing by Tata Coffee's own estate write-up ("a 25-acre manicured 9-hole golf course"), and it is actively sold in 2026 by amã Stays & Trails — the IHCL brand that has managed the estate's Plantation Trails bungalows under contract to Tata Coffee since 2019 — which offers a "Golfing Adventure" on "a unique 9-hole golf course amidst coffee plantations" to guests of its Cottabetta Bungalow. Tata Coffee Ltd was amalgamated into Tata Consumer Products around 2022–24, but the corporate change has not closed the course; the tatacoffee.com brand site survives and still describes it. The club itself publishes nothing of its own: no website, no fee sheet, no verified phone number. The contact details that appear on a golf-travel blog belong to the blog, which explicitly asks readers to book through its own concierge service, so they are not repeated here. The Tata group's 2019 article calls the course "private", and amã's other Pollibetta property page does not mention golf at all, so a visitor should assume access runs through a stay rather than a walk-up.
