The Voyage Golf Course
On current evidence, The Voyage Golf Course is about as thinly documented as an Indian golf course can be. It exists in exactly one place: a golfpass directory entry placing it at Ramanthali, PIN 670310, in Kannur district. That entry carries no phone, no website, no year built, zero reviews and a single amenity ("Walking Allowed") — against 10 to 17 amenities on every other Kerala entry in the same directory. Nothing else, anywhere, mentions it.

What we knowEverything on file, and what the sources disagreed about
On the naval-academy question. Ramanthali is the village that contains the gateway to the Indian Naval Academy at Ezhimala, and a nautically-named golf course sitting at that PIN invites the obvious inference. It remains an inference and nothing more. A deliberate search in August 2026 across Indian Navy and Join Indian Navy pages, the Wikipedia articles on both the Indian Naval Academy and Ramanthali, PIB, and Malayalam-language local news found no source that names any connection between this course and the academy. The Wikipedia article on the academy does not mention golf at all. Two further points cut against the theory rather than for it: GolfPass classes this course "Semi- Private", while in the very same Kerala directory it classes the Indian Navy's actual Kochi course "Private/Military" — the site does tag military courses when it knows they are military — and the Navy's own pages, which do publicise academy infrastructure, say nothing about a course here. Until a source names a connection, treat the idea as speculation only.
The listing's own numbers do not hold together either. It says nine holes, then gives par 72 over 6,749 yards with a course rating of 70.7 and slope 121 — a rating on the eighteen- hole scale. For comparison, the same site rates the nine-hole courses at Trivandrum 26.5 and Kochi 33.9. One tempting explanation — nine holes played as two loops off different tees — is not stated by any source, so it should not be assumed. The true hole count is unknown, and so is who can play here: the idea of a naval facility with unpublished access rests only on inference, and is in any case contradicted by the one source that speaks to it.
Not the same place as Naval Golf Club, Kochi, which is the Southern Naval Command's course at Katari Bagh on Willingdon Island, roughly 250 km to the south. No source connects the two.
