MGM Golf Club
MGM Golf Club is a 9-hole course at Padegaon on the western edge of Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar (Aurangabad), built by the Mahatma Gandhi Mission education trust — sources disagree on the year (2012 per golfpass, "from 2013" per Navarashtra) and on the size (32 acres per Free Press Journal, 31 per Navarashtra). It is clearly an active club: in 2024 it co-hosted the "MGM Golf League", a national amateur team event, with the city's Smart City corporation (Free Press Journal, 24 July 2024, which names founder Ranjeet Kakkad), and Navarashtra reported the league being played there on 31 October – 2 November 2025. Who may play is the open question. GolfPass says "open to the public", but that comes from a template field which says the same thing about a members-only country club in Thane, so it cannot be relied on; Navarashtra instead describes a membership, heavy on Japanese and Korean corporate staff in the city. The driving range, short-game areas and teaching pro likewise come from GolfPass tick-boxes, and none is independently confirmed. There is no golf-club website — the parent MGM Sports Club site merely offers an "MGM Golf" app download — and the two listed mobile numbers come from GolfPass alone.
