Patna Golf Club
Patna Golf Club has held Bailey Road since 1916, and in September 2025 it staged the PGTI NEXGEN tour event — by the press accounts, the first professional golf played in Patna in fourteen years. Bihar's principal course is a private members' club where guests play by prior reservation; it publishes no phone or website, so the way in runs through a member or the clubhouse gate.

What we knowEverything on file, and what the sources disagreed about
Patna Golf Club, established in 1916 on Bailey Road in Rajbansi Nagar, is Bihar's principal golf course: 18 holes with a driving range and practice greens, run as a private members' club on land leased from the Bihar government, with guest play reportedly possible by prior reservation. Sources disagree on the scorecard — par 70 at 6,768 yards per two directories, but par 69 (slope 119) per 4moles — and on the PIN code (800001 per Mappls, 800023 per godigit). A 2023 blog quotes a strikingly low ₹500 per person per day including equipment and caddy; that is a single claim of unknown origin and should not be relied on. No club-published phone, email, or website could be found — the contact numbers that appear on other directories' pages are those sites' own concierge lines, not the club's. A fresh search in August 2026 (official-domain guesses, the September 2025 PGTI tournament coverage, contact directories) again turned up no club-published contact channel of any kind, so there is no phone, website, or booking route that can honestly be given. The club is demonstrably operating, though: the PGTI NEXGEN 2025 professional tour event was hosted and completed at Patna Golf Club on 2–4 September 2025 — PGTI's own dated result item shows Amrit Lal winning a three-way playoff there, the first professional golf in Patna in 14 years per the syndicated press coverage — so the club is operating as of September 2025.
