Rhino Golf Club
Rhino Golf Club is an Indian Army course at Narengi on the eastern edge of Guwahati, built in 1973 and playing as 18 holes since 1985 — par 71 at a short 5,138 yards, with a course rating of 71 and a notable slope of 129. A 2023 golf-travel blog describes it as a private course open to visitors on payment of a visitor fee, but the amount and process are not published anywhere. A dress code reportedly applies; specifics are likewise unpublished. There is no club phone, email, website, or social account to be found (the contact numbers on directory pages are the directories' own), and the newest dated evidence is a coaching listing's photo uploads of May 2024, so nothing confirms the club is open today.

What we knowEverything on file, and what the sources disagreed about
One disagreement to note: GolfPass's entry for Rhino (course 36076) lists 9 holes and "5138 meters", against the 18-hole figure reported elsewhere — a conflict that is noted rather than settled. That entry's facility list (golf carts, pull carts, golf clubs, driving range, bunker, teaching pro, pitching and chipping area, putting green, walking allowed, restaurant, locker rooms) is detailed and course-specific rather than generic template fill, though none of the core facts about the club rest on GolfPass.
