Misa Polo Club, established in 1888 in the tea country between Nagaon and Kaziranga, is one of Assam's surviving planter clubs: a 9-hole golf course (3,097 yards from the gents' tees) alongside tennis, badminton, cricket, billiards and a restaurant. The club is listed as private, but tea-tourism operators sell visit packages, and it demonstrably hosts active tournament golf: the 4th BORBHAG Cup inter-club tournament was played here on 30 November 2025 with 101 golfers from 20 clubs across six states and Bhutan — the home side won it — and the 3rd edition was played here in January 2024. (A Misa Club player also won the gross title at the Meghalaya Invitational in Shillong in May 2025, though a travelling member proves active golfers rather than an operating course.) The club itself publishes nothing. GolfPass lists two phone numbers, equipment rental, caddies and practice areas including a driving range, all of which is directory data of unknown freshness. No prices are published anywhere.
