Jalandhar's main course sits on the Punjab Armed Police campus next to the cantonment and appears in directories under two names — "Jalandhar Golf Club – PAP Golf Course" and "Punjab Armed Police Ashwini Golf Club" — which the addresses indicate are the same 18-hole facility. A 2016 Tribune report on a new coaching academy at the "PAP golf range" is the only non-directory source found; it establishes that the course exists and is played on, with floodlit practice, but it is far too old to say anything about today. The numbers disagree substantially between sources: par 71 (two directories) vs 72 (a 2023 blog article), and lengths from 5,652 to 6,500 yards; the blog also claims a 1954 founding by Chief Minister Partap Singh Kairon and a Phil Ryan design, while golfpass dates it 1990 and credits Vijit Nandrajog — none of this is reconciled, and the blog is a golf-concierge site whose text reads like generated content, so treat its details with caution (it also conflates this course with "Ranjitgarh", which other directories place separately at Phillaur). Facilities per directories: driving range, bunker and pitching areas, putting green, teaching pro, restaurant, showers and lockers. Members-and-guests play is described but no access terms or fees are published, and nothing dated after September 2023 was found.

One trap to record explicitly: this is a POLICE course, not an Army one. The CAG's 2010 audit of defence land does list a golf course at Jalandhar station — 192.00 acres as of August 2009 — but that annexure covers Army courses on defence land only, so it does not corroborate this club. Jalandhar has at least three separate golf courses: this PAP one, an Army course that a scorecard database lists as "VEPTA, Jalandhar", and a Border Security Force club that directories list separately. Anything found under a bare "Jalandhar golf" search needs to be attributed to one of the three before it is used here.
