Rail Coach Factory Golf Club
An 18-hole, par-72 course of roughly 6,500 yards inside the Rail Coach Factory township at Kapurthala, built in 1989. This is the strongest-evidenced of the Punjab railway clubs: in January 2026 it hosted the 69th All India Railway Golf Championship, reported independently by The Tribune and Millennium Post, with the home RCF team finishing runners-up to Banaras Locomotive Works. That is a firm, dated confirmation the course is in use. A club-run website (on a wixsite address, so its official standing is not proven) says the course "is accessible to all citizens and foreigners too (on payment of green fees)", describes a driving range, floodlights on the first five holes and a new clubhouse, but publishes no green-fee rate, no phone number and no address; a golf directory adds carts, caddies, club rental, a putting green, restaurant and lounge, and prints a 6,490-yard men's card at 70.7/121 against the club's rounder "6500 yard" claim. So the course is demonstrably live and nominally open on payment, but a visitor still has no published price, contact number or booking route — a call or a local introduction would be needed in practice.
