Golf in Bengaluru
Also searched as Bangalore · 10 places to play · updated Aug 2026
Bengaluru golf runs on a split the rest of India doesn't have: two heritage members' courses inside the city — KGA's 7,219-yard championship layout at Kodihalli and the 1876 Bangalore Golf Club on Sankey Road — ringed by a belt of simulators, academies and resort courses that will take anyone. The clubs sell weekday visitor rounds at ₹3,000 with a handicap certificate, but the honest starting line is cheaper: KGA's own range takes non-members at ₹1,000 an hour, and an indoor simulator league runs in Frazer Town. This is the easiest city in India to go from never-played to certified.
WHAT PLAYING HERE LOOKS LIKE
The cheapest published round here is Eagleton — The Golf Resort, at ₹2,500 (18 holes, weekday), observed Aug 2026. 8 of the 10 places listed will take a visitor without a membership.

5 ways in, and what each one costs
Picked on criteria we can date and cite, not on prestige. Every figure below is from the place’s own published page.
₹1,000 an hour with unlimited balls for non-members (+18% GST), on KGA's own driving-range page as observed August 2026 — no membership, no handicap, no introduction, range open 6 AM–6 PM. It is the only outdoor practice facility in the market with an owner-published non-member price.
Runner-up: the short-game area at ₹500/hour + GST on the same rate sheet.
Indoor ProTee simulator centre in Frazer Town with all equipment provided at no extra charge, coaching for adults and for children from age 7, and self-service online booking — and the strongest sign of current trading among the beginner places here: its own dated Indoor Golf League ran 13 July–9 August 2026.
Runner-up: Adhvik Indoor Golf (Bannerghatta Road) offers a comparable intro program with free equipment, but no dated source shows it currently trading, so message via Playo first.
The only Bengaluru-area course with an owner-published non-member rate card and a priced rental set: ₹2,500 weekday / ₹3,500 weekend + GST, clubs ₹1,000 a set, cart ₹650 (all re-verified line-by-line on the official site, August 2026), plus a 24-bay range and floodlit par-3 nine. One data-honest condition: after a 2021 land seizure touched the main course, no dated source confirms the current hole count — phone the tee-off desk and ask how many holes are in play.
Runner-up: none defensible — KGA's own guest-fee page marks golf for guests "not introduced by members" as not permitted, and Zion Hills (Kolar) has no dated green fee published.
₹3,000 + GST buys any certified visitor a weekday round on the 1876 course in the middle of the city (₹750 for affiliated-club members, ₹1,500 IGU), visitors accommodated six days a week, 6 AM–3 PM, booked by phone up to a day ahead — all on the club's own visitors page as read August 2026.
Runner-up: KGA at ₹3,000 weekday via IGU registration or an affiliated-club card (₹150 guest fee, most affiliated clubs capped at four visits a month, per the owner guest-fee schedule).
Every event on the club's 2026 calendar (Prestige Masters Series, PING Shootout, Seniors Open, running to 17 December 2026) is billed "(For Members and Non-Members)", and the Mercedes Trophy was played there 21–22 January 2026 — a Bob Hunt par-72 under Nandi Hills, managed by Troon. Caveat stated plainly: no green fee is published anywhere on golfshire.com, so budget by phone.
No runner-up — no other place here publishes non-member tournament entry.
Honestly unsupported category — "Worth the drive." Zion Hills (Kolar, granite-shelf Ronald Fream design with the Tarun Sardesai Golf Academy) is the natural candidate, but its only circulating green fees are undated aggregator figures we deliberately dropped, and no dated source confirms its playable hole count. Until a dated rate card exists, a drive-out pick can't be made on data; Eagleton (pick 3) already covers the near-out-of-town case.

Prices are the cheapest published figure a visitor can buy, with the month we read it. Where a place publishes nothing, the row says so.
