Tollygunge Club
The Tollygunge Club (est. 1895) is a 100-acre country club in south Kolkata whose 18-hole, par-70, 6,304-yard course winds through the grounds of a former indigo plantation; the clubhouse is over 200 years old. It is a members' club — the website frames everything for "members and their guests" — with rooms, restaurants, tennis, squash, swimming and riding alongside the golf. It is demonstrably alive and hosting professional golf: the PGTI's ₹1-crore Coal India Open 2026 was played here and won by Shubham Jaglan on 14 August 2026, and the ₹1.5-crore DP World Players Championship 2026 was played here 17–20 February 2026. Golf practice and coaching on the grounds run through the Tolly Golf Centre, operated by Protouch Golf Academy at the same 120 Deshapran Sasmal Road address. The club publishes no fees of any kind. Its own Affiliated Clubs page lists reciprocal clubs worldwide but publishes no visitor procedure, fee or golf-access rule, so what a non-member would actually pay or need is not obtainable from public sources.
